Book an Appointment
How exciting, you’re about to start your Luxe Ink journey! Please read through the below thoroughly before booking.
Thank you and the team can’t wait to see you!
Salon Etiquette:
To ensure an enjoyable treatment for all clients, we ask that you please do not bring any friends, family and children with you to your appointments. Our reception and treatment areas can't accommodate groups.
To ensure you are suitable for your permanent makeup treatment, please read below regarding pregnancy, breastfeeding and medications. The below medications and conditions may not necessarily prevent you from having the treatment done, however they are going to help your Luxe Ink Artist ensure she uses the right approach in order to get you the best result. If what you have/are taking is NOT listed below, please call us to ensure you are eligible for any Ink treatments prior to booking. Deposits will be made void if your appointment is made and you are unable to have the treatment due to the below.
After Treatments:
For one week after your appointment:
NO sun, sweating, swimming, steam, sauna, touching, picking or water. Your brows are going through an intense healing stage and you must be prepared for flaking and pigment loss etc.
Pregnant women CANNOT have any permanent makeup treatments completed.
Breastfeeding is okay, provided you are able to 'pump and dump' for 8 hours following the procedure.
Oral Vitamin A, known under different trading names to treat acne, cannot be taken leading up to, during or after you have had a treatment done.
Blood thinning and photosensitive medications need to be discussed with Lauren in advance of your appointment.
If you have diabetes, high or low blood pressure, a thyroid condition or have recently been on antibiotics for any reason, you must discuss with a Luxe Ink artist in advance of your appointment.
If you are diagnosed with body dysmorphic or obsessive compulsive disorder you must speak with Lauren before the day of your appointment to assess your suitability for the treatment. Perfection is not an option when it comes to permanent makeup, if you think you might feel stressed by imperfection its best we talk it out to make sure its right for you.
Fish oils thin the blood; please stop taking these 14 days prior to your appointment to avoid a blurry result.
Botox and Dermal Fillers:
These treatments need to be timed no sooner than 14 days before or after your planned permanent makeup treatments to ensure a correctly balanced result.
